Harrison had surgery to correct his umbilical hernia on Thursday morning. He handled everything like a trooper! He seemed a bit nervous before the surgery, but no tears or complaints. Afterwards, he was dazed from the anesthetics, but again - no tears or complaints. By Friday morning, he didn't even want pain medication anymore. He has only mentioned that it bothers him a couple of times and he's doing pretty well at keeping his activity level low (which is no small task for a 6 year old boy!). We won't get to peek at the belly button for 7 days until the bandage is removed... I can't wait to see!!
